Vlach-GloBalkan-Beat-Sheep-Hop! - roots and members
During the world tour with ethno band Kal (2008-2011), group of band memebers, longtime friends, have made a pact to begin creating their original work based on the waste musical experience gained over the years, that spans from funeral and wedding orchestras, through popular rock, folk and jazz bands, to classical music. The four of them Goran Savic (drums), Aleksandar Cvejic (bass), Aleksandar Srejic (sound engineer) and Sasa Dusanovic (lead vocal and multi-instrumentalist) formed the band Bizar Bazar in 2009.
While they were making music, following the latest trends and forms, their parents consumed music in the traditional way: under the tent, with roasted lamb and pork, with gallons of good and bad “rakija”, always cheap wine, in the agony or the ecstasy of a dance called ''kolo"... Bizar Bazar creates the music for both of them...today, but also for generations that will come and that will want to know who we are, how we love, what we are fighting for, what is our stance about faith and finally, can we come out better at the end of the road... Be prepared for almost schizophrenic performance of folk, punk, hip-hop, electronic and traditional music - homage to everything that they are.
